Email: srosenow@biovirx.com Scott E. Rosenow, Esq., was most recently the Director of Operations in the Rochester Minnesota office of GMP|Companies, Inc., a Florida-based Biosciences Company. His involvement in this company encompassed broad areas of responsibilities. He helped establish a medical device Subsidiary which is based on technology licensed from the Mayo Clinic. As Director of Operations, he coordinated the development of several cardiology-related devices with the engineers, the scientific advisors, the QA/QS team, the regulatory team, and the legal ramifications of the growth of this entity, to ensure that the commercialization and development milestones were met. In addition to management of the this Subsidiary, Mr. Rosenow reported to the Executive VP in charge of Global Business, where he was involved with identification, analysis, acquisition, and development of new technology and / or establishment of new business for the Company. Specifically, he coordinated R&D strategic assessment plans, including defining strategies for the assessment, acquisition, product development, clinical and regulatory processes, and commercialization of new technology. In this role he was heavily involved with the due diligence analysis of technology, such as intellectual property review, regulatory pathway review, market analysis, and projected milestones. He has established an extensive network in the medical and scientific community, the financial community, as well as the biosciences business community. He was also the lawyer in charge of two other GMP Divisions, where he oversaw the various legal issues such as license agreements, material transfer agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, intellectual property issues, corporate guidance issues, etc. Mr. Rosenow was also the Manager for a strategic alliance between the Company and a major Fortune 500 strategic partner. Mr. Rosenow coordinated the interaction of this relationship to realize the full potential of the alliance. A lawyer by training, Mr. Rosenow practiced law in Washington, D.C .for over 12 years. He received his BA and JD from the University of Minnesota. |
