Email: lex.lee@biovirx.com Dr. Lee has a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from University of Southern California, and has his Professional Licensure from the California and Nevada State Boards of Pharmacy. He has extensive management experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and technology transfer in Asia. He is a founder of several Asian biotech companies and is also serving as the R&D consultant to China Chemical and Pharmaceutical Corp. in Taiwan and has served as Secretary General of the Cross Strait Pharmacology Society of China where he helped build extensive contacts in the global life science sectors. Dr. Lee has worked in Barlow Hospital, Los Angeles, CA (a USC Medical School Affiliate) as clinical staff pharmacist. Other clinical position includes on site clinical preceptor for USC Pharmacy School. His managerial experience began with Osco Drug, a national drug chain, as Chief Pharmacist Manager in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Lee was then recruited as Vice President and COO of Shing Fong Pharmaceutics Inc. Taiwan. His major responsibilities included acquiring both new products and technologies to diversify health products, implementing government grants for drug formulation initiatives, and coordinating GMP inspections and renewal of GMP certification. In 1995, Dr. Lee directed drug marketing and sales to Vietnam and Burma. He was one of the founders and acted as CEO and President of Synzyme Asia Biotechnology Corp. He is also board member of several Asian companies. Dr. Lee has a B.S. degree from University of California at Los Angeles, his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California, and is currently completing a Exec.JD program at the Concord Law School. |
